About Us:
We are a Franco-American team of nature and travel lovers. After several travels and studies we came across a gorgeous Tropical island on the southern Guatemalan Pacific coast, down the beach from Monterrico.
We felt in love with this place and we decided to build a small Boutique Hotel in this gorgeous site.
This exclusive Boutique Hotel, designed by the famous architect Christopher Egan has been tastefully build in conformance with his great concern for environmental respect.

Our French Chef, naturally composed our carte from a large choice of local gastronomic resources: fish, crustacean, tropical fruits and vegetables. We offers a combination of traditional and Mediterranean food. (Italian, French, Spanish). A cocktail-bar is at our guest's disposal.

Of Special Note:
Isleta de Gaia is located on a long island of sand between the Laguna de Chiquimulilla and the Pacific Ocean in the southern coast of Guatemala.
The hotel is not in the village of Monterrico; it's about 30 km. (19 mi.) down the beach from there, near the border of Guatemala and El Salvador. From the capital Guatemala Ciudad, Isleta de Gaia may be reached via Escuintla using the new highway Palin-Escuintla, then taking the coastal road to El Salvador to Chiquimulilla and continuing untill the kilometer 144 where you will find a crossroads. Turn right on the way to Las Lisas 17 kms untill the end of the road. You will find public boat service at port “Sarampaña” (Las Lisas mooring). Guarded and secured car parking lots are available in Sarampaña.
The palm trees, the beautiful Guatemalan beach, the Mangrove forest along the Laguna, and the rich local wildlife make this place an ecological paradise.

Reservatio Reservation Policy: In filling out and sending this email you are not committing yourself to anything. Once all arrangements have been made you will be asked to pay a confirmation fee (normally 10%) that will be credited to you against the total value of your reservation. Isleta de Gaia may have additional requirements and/or payments to hold your reservation up to and including full prepayment. Isleta de Gaia must clarify these additional requirements (if any) before you are asked to pay the confirmation fee. Cancellation Policy: Unless Isleta de Gaia stipulates otherwise, after paying the confirmation fee you are free to cancel for any reason and without penalty up to three days prior to schedule arrival.
